The COVID-19 Digital Classroom brings together global leaders in communication, animation development, and training strategies to provide high-quality digital health education content to community-based health workers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During this event, you’ll hear from Dr. Gaya Gamhewage, Head of Learning & Capacity Development, and the Health Emergencies Program at the World Health Organization.
Dr. Gaya will provide opening remarks and then facilitate a round-table discussion with representatives of the founding partners of the COVID-19 Digital Classroom: the Community Health Academy, CORE Group, Medical Aid Films, TechChange and Translators without Borders.
You’ll hear how the partners are leveraging digital technologies, curating existing high-quality content and developing a suite of new, medically-reviewed animations and short training courses to ensure every community-based health worker has the information they need to help their own communities wherever in the world they are providing care.
