As of March 31, the international COVAX facility has shipped over 32 million COVID-19 vaccines to more than 70 countries. As the global collaboration intends to ship millions of more vaccines in the coming months, country-level public health officials must begin conducting social and behavior change (SBC) campaigns to promote the vaccine. Vaccines are one of the most effective public health measures to protect people from COVID-19 infection and to help return the world to normal. This makes a successful roll-out of COVID-19 vaccines a vitally important activity.
Join us April 15 for a live webinar and question and answer (Q&A) session on ways to design an SBC campaign – including building vaccine acceptance and mitigating vaccine hesitancy. Expert presenters will provide a background into vaccine hesitancy and vaccine communication, overview currently available COVID-19 vaccine materials and resources, and provide lessons learned from previous vaccine campaigns that can be used to strengthen COVID-19 vaccine communication.
